Pet care experience
My guy recently passed away but I had a paralyzed incontinent Frenchie named Brutus so I know what it's like to really care for a dog...especially the ones who can't care for themselves. That worry in the pit of your stomach when you are not home taking care of your pet is no fun so, rest assured, that if I'm caring for your "best friend" they will be well loved. Elysian Park is our backyard so there will be hikes and walks and treats and all the fun your pooch desires. I've been a dog owner for 15 years and a dog walker for 10 years in Echo Park/Silverlake. I am willing to socialize your dog on pack walks or can walk them solo if that's more their speed. Exercise is a priority for the pups…and me. Plenty of trails outside my door and I’m happy to go to the dog park if your dog is comfortable. Otherwise I’m happy to chill with your pup and give them belly rubs.

Prior to your dog's stay I'd like to know....Does your dog like humans? Does it bite? Or is it dog aggressive? Does it have a phobia of brachiocephalic dogs? How often does he/she eat? Any special needs? Can they they handle hikes?
A typical day
I live at Elysian Park so there are plenty of trails to explore. If your dog is up for it then so am I. If your dog likes to chill then there's plenty of open spaces and shaded trees in the park. Nature surrounds us here.

I work from home so I get to wake up and take a walk with the pooches. Great way to start the day. Lounging around the house then a mid-day walk and potty break. Maybe some fetch and play time. If your dog is dog friendly then there will be plenty of opportunity to interact with plenty of dogs as they stroll the park.
