Hi! My name is Danni and I am a senior studying biomedical engineering at GWU. I plan to attend vet school after I complete my undergraduate degree. I have worked as a veterinary assistant in an animal hospital, as well as with various animal rescue organizations, so I have experience with animals that are shy, anxious, aggressive, untrained, or sick. I am trained in administering oral medication, monitoring heart rate and respiratory rate, and caring for injuries. I have been caring for animals my whole life on my farm in Connecticut, from dogs and cats to chickens and mice. The hardest part of being in college is having to leave my two dogs behind! I have also pet sat many creatures, including dogs, cats, geckos and rabbits. Since I am a college student, I would not have to leave your pet alone for more than 3 hours to go to class when pet sitting and I have a lot of time during the day to stop by and check on your pet or take your dog on a walk.
