Another great experience with Danitra. Our dog and 2 cats love her. We love being able to leave town, this time for 10 days, knowing that Danitra is watching the house and taking great care of our furry family!

We booked Danitra for 11 days but ended up cutting it short to only 3 days. We had agreed upon her dropping by our house three times per day to walk our dog, feed him, and spend time with him while we were away for the holidays. From our outdoor security cameras it became clear to us that she was not visiting the house 3 times a day, sometimes twice, and then only once on the last day before we cancelled. When we confronted her about this she lied to us. We have her on camera at around 3:15am on the morning of the 26th of December entering the house and then leaving 7 minutes later (not enough time to walk the dog). We noticed she was not back to the house any other time that morning or afternoon. So around 3:00pm we asked her if she was able to drop by the house to see Beau again and she told us she walked him at 5:30am and just return from seeing him an hour ago... She lied. We questioned this explaining we didn't see her at the house via the security cameras and she replied "I could have sworn I was there." She then quickly pivoted to become very defensive and started gaslighting us into thinking we were wrong, saying things like we need to pay extra for extra check in's and that we should have told her we had security cameras (it's not a rover policy to disclose that you have security cameras). Nothing she said addressed the fact that she wasn't there when she said she was. For a split second I even doubted our cameras thinking they didn't record the motion at the front door of her coming in, however the saving grace was that it snowed that day and there were clearly no footprints in the snow leading up to our house. Regardless the cameras are extremely sensitivity to motion and have never not recorded a person entering or leaving the house. At this time, we didn't know what to do and had been trying to contact friends in the area to see if they could drop by. At around 9:30pm we asked if she was going to stop by again to see the dog and she explained she couldn't get out of her neighborhood with the snow. She didn't inform us at any point in time that she wasn't going to be able to make it that entire day until we asked her, which at that point it had already been about 18 hours without a drop-in. If we were to have known earlier we could have planned way ahead of time to get a neighbor or friend over to our house. Besides the fact that she lied, this was negligent of her, thus we cancelled our arrangement. We should have read all her reviews thoroughly before booking (which unfortunately we didn't) because there is a very similar one that involves her not doing what she said she would do for the pet's owner. The sad thing is that she was a very sweet and warm person up front at the meet and greet we had with her and our dog. We liked her a lot and gave her our trust. It is unfortunate someone like that can be so deceiving and it just goes to show you can't trust some people. If she tries to deny any of this, which she probably will, we have all the videos and messages as evidence which we are willing to share. I hope after this ordeal she learns some sort of lesson about lying and mistreating animals. Or maybe she will just still be angry and defiant that she got caught.
