I have cared for pets all my life. As a family we have nurtured everything from butterflies to snakes, to feathered friends and fur babies. We love all animals. Recently, our family dog passed and we have not made the transition to a new pet. I felt this would be a great transition, helping others, while giving our family the joy of wet noses and sloppy kisses. About me: I am Holistic Health practitioner and have been integrating holistic health into my animal business since 2007. I was always aware of the mind, body connection and feel it was the animals I took care of that inspired this is me. I have recently completed an animal CPR certification and am now studying animal communications. I have seen numerous animal clients regain health from simple dietary changes all while improving allergies and inflammation. I am also an educator and hold workshops on how to protect your pets health. I use crystals and Bach Flower Remedies to help enhance healing sessions. I am a nurturer at heart. Your pet will definitely love daily pet massage and Reiki energy treatments by me! Reiki is a system of spiritual practice that uses meditation and love to unlock our healing potential. I have worked with pets challenged by emotional ailments with great success, as well as physical ailments using massage and Reiki. My husband and three boys all help in the care of the animals that are boarded with us. My boys are 10, 7 and 5. About my clients dogs: I have had all types of dogs around our family. Large, medium and small dogs. Each type of dog has a different personality and we as a family work around the dog to best suit his/her needs. Need lots of energy? My boys can provide it! Prefer to have more quiet time, our family can respect that as well. My dog sitting style: My dog sitting style is consistent with your pet parenting style. I believe consistency is the best approach for a dog in a new environment. If the dog needs to be crated we work with that, as well as cuddles on the couch. If the dogs like it, I take two walks a day and love to take hikes to Buena vista park. We have a large backyard, that is safe and fenced in. I also like to offer to bathe your dog at the local self pet wash. Please let me know if you would like that added service to your stay. The cost is dependent on the size of the dog. I use all natural and holistic products and I make my own flea and tic spray out of essential oils that are 100% pure, natural, effective and safe for the animals.
