After nearly 10 years as friends, I have to say that Danielle is what I affectionately call a dog lady. Not only does she go above and beyond to care for her pooch, but she’s been like a godmother to mine. When I adopted my first pup three years ago, Danielle showed up at my door with a new-mom gift basket brimming with nail trimmers, toys, leashes, light-up collars for night walking, treats, and all kinds of training gadgets. And last year when I adopted my second pup, she went with me to pick him up, then to the pet store to help me with my puppy care selections. Anytime we meet up for a glass of wine, or to work on projects, she has some little toy or treat for me to take home to my boys. And when she makes house calls, it’s not unusual for her to take them into the backyard for a quick training session. She’s the kind of dog lady who feeds her dog two types of food, and I love her for it. Aside from dogs, she’s one of the most reliable friends I’ve ever had - always available, and always there when I need her. She’s really just one of those people you can’t help but cherish. People love her, and dogs LOVE her. She’s my go-to for all things dogs. She’s watched them, walked them, played with them, treated them, and honestly, I have to spell her name in my house, because if I say it out loud, my dogs will freak out thinking she’s about to walk through the door.

Danielle V is a true animal-whisperer, and I do not say this lightly. Animals of all sorts, dogs especially, just seem to come right up and know and like and respond to her instinctively. I know this sounds highly effusive but if there's one person you would want to walk, look after or champion your dog (or any animal), she's it. I grew up many moons ago as a farm kid and owned and loved my share of animals. And she is as responsible, on-time and thoughtful as the day is long---(which I realize with the Fall clock time-change and early-dark days, may be poor cliché but I stand by that overall assessment). I was a college professor; I know of what I speak in that regard. And so do her patients in her other job at a major hospital---interestingly, they ask for HER first and not the doctors or nurses on their cases. She's a trustworthy sensitive and you can do no better for your service. Enough said.
