Every day is a dog party!
Pet care experience
Over the past year, we had to say goodbye to our beloved cat (Panthro 13) and dog (Adama 12), who were members of our family. We are ready to open our hearts and homes again to those who love their pets as much as we loved ours. We are reactivating our pet boarding to provide flexibility to spend time and care for dogs of all sorts while allowing us to travel when needed. We aren't ready to have a permanent new pet member in our home but welcome temporary visitors, and we hope yours will join us for a staycation.
Reviews
Danielle took good care of my baby! I highly recommend her!
Danielle was amazing to deal with and my puppy enjoyed his stay. She sent me pictures, gave me updates, and was flexible. I would absolutely use her again.
Danielle helped me out when I needed care urgently, since my other plans had fallen through last minute. She was responsive and communicative, and took great care of my doggy. I would highly recommend her.
I have known Danielle and Bobby for years and have always been impressed with their love and care around friends and their own dog and cat. Our dog Coda can’t wait for her next playdate with the them and is always sad to say goodbye. Danielle is patient and gentle with shy or anxious pets and knows how to handle more energetic or playful pets. She also has a great understanding of pet behavior and can quickly identify any signs of distress or discomfort. I highly recommend Danielle as a pet caretaker. She is trustworthy, caring, and knowledgeable, and I know that any pet under their care will be fun with lots of love.

We understand that pets are our children. We also have a child of our own. Our elementary school-age daughter is gentle and loving with pets and understands the needs of anxious and elderly canines. We dealt with the last years of our German Sheperd spinal degeneration and it was always important for us to have caretakers love him and tend to his needs as much as we did. We live in a friendly and community-centered neighborhood that is walkable and pet friendly. Our backyard is small but fenced.

Information Danielle S. would like to know about your pet
We are just getting back onto the Rover system and our availability will be slow at first. We are a pretty easygoing family. We would like to understand your comfort level of taking your dog out and about or being in a house with other dogs. We may have a couple of dogs here at once time. One rule we do have is no dogs in the bed or furniture. This may be hard for some pups but it helps us keep space.
A typical day
If the dog is up to it, we love the dog trails near Joaquin Miller Park or the dog parks in Oakland and Alameda. My favorite is the Dunn trail which is only for dogs with good recalls. I also love Point Isabel for the young pups. We are good with dogs on leash for a walk in the neighborhood or cuddling up for Netflix and chill with our canine visitors.

Availability
I currently work two to three days a week from home and have a flexible schedule when I do need to go into the office. I often take care of any morning routines while my husband takes care of anything that needs to be sought in the evenings.
