Pet care experience
Growing up raising rescued pups and foster dogs, I have become extremely well-versed in the responsibilities necessary to keep pets happy and healthy. Sitting through Rover has given me the opportunity to gain amazing experience, as well as awesome friendships, with dogs (and cats!) of all different breeds, sizes, and personalities. I would absolutely love to get to know yours next! I am returning back to Rover after a long hiatus due to focusing on other work! I have worked as a behavioral therapist for teens and adults for the past 4 years, and am actively searching for my next opportunity. I would love to take some of your pet duties off your hands in the meantime. During my check-ins, I will treat your home with the utmost respect and follow your pet’s daily routine as closely as possible. I am happy to care for other household pets like cats, birds, and reptiles, and have a ton of experience with them as well. I am extremely familiar with putting on harnesses, administering medicine (oral or injected), and working with dogs that are timid around other dogs and/or people. I am looking forward to meeting you and your furry friend(s) and am confident I can fit their specific needs, whatever they may be! Your best friend will be safe, happy, and very well-cared for while you’re away :)

Danielle is an amazing pup sitter. I have never met someone so genuinely excited to watch our dog. While we were traveling we got frequent photo and text updates and I could tell that our little pup was having the best of time. She was adaptable to our schedule and when our dog was put on medicine right before we dropped her off, she administered it with no issues. Danielle is officially our go-to for dog sitting and we are so blessed that she takes care of our corgi with such love and care.
Danielle was terrific with our dog Ellie, who requires some special attention and doesn't always interact well with other dogs. We would definitely leave Ellie with her again.
Danielle was AMAZING! Fabulous at communicating, kept us updated throughout the stay with texts and photos. She stayed at our house with our 11 week old puppy and 2 cats while we were away. She left us a detailed note for our return, cleaned up our house and we had happy and relaxed pets on our return! I wouldn't hesitate to refer her to anyone. Will definitely use her again.
Once again, a wonderful stay with Danielle. She’s so detailed and thoughtful with each of our pets. I love her check-ins and all the cute photos! We can be totally relaxed on our vacations because Danielle is home taking such great care of our fur-babies! Thank you a million times, Danielle!

I love pups of all breeds and personalities! I think that it is crucial to know your pup's usual routine and preferences before sitting him/her - I want to care for your dog exactly how you would! Meeting any dog before sitting (if possible) is always the best way to establish a sense of familiarity with me, and if boarding, my apartment and cats. Also - how does your pup like car rides? If you’d be interested, I’d be more than happy to take your pup to play at the dog park in Magnuson or on any of my adventures during their stay!
A typical day
Your pup and I will explore different areas (mostly parks) of Seattle! I live in Ballard, which is usually my go-to for daily walks - I love going to Sunset Hill Park and Golden Gardens. I am more than happy to have mellow, cozy times with less-active or older dogs. Playing fetch or with toys is a great way to make sure the fun (& exercise) isn't only outdoors!
