Personal Care for your Best Friend

Pet care experience

I offer personalized care to ensure your best friend feels safe and secure during their stay, and most especially happy ❤️🐾 I absolutely love dogs and have discovered through my care of many dogs that the feeling is mutual. I know how hard it can be choosing a sitter that will love your dog like you do, especially when there are special needs, and this is the whole reason I started pet sitting. I want to give owners peace of mind so they can enjoy time away and know their pet is also happy! I work from home so I am home full time during the week. I’ve had extensive experience with my own dogs, as well as my experience fostering nearly 20 dogs with a local dog rescue (one at a time). I volunteer at the local animal services and have completed training for this as well. I am comfortable with dogs from puppies to seniors, and am comfortable administering meds. I’ve fostered puppies and numerous older dogs, as well as special needs and a senior hospice foster. I previously administered meds twice a day with my own dog so am well versed at this. Please note that I do require a meet and greet with my own pup prior to booking a home stay, to ensure a good fit. I am the proud fur mom of an approximately ~10 month old, 20lb shmedium girl named Charlotte, that has shown herself to be playful, as well as respectful with proper oversight. She loves pups both small & big, & can hold her own with pups 5x her size! This meet will help ensure your dog (and you!) are comfortable, and give you peace of mind for your dog’s stay 💗 I love each pup like my own and look forward to meeting you and yours!

Danielle was fantastic as our pet sitter for our Golden Retriever and Great Pyrenees. From the moment we met her, we could tell she had a natural connection with animals. Danielle made our dogs, Dean and Darci, feel at home with her dog, Charlotte. Throughout the entire pet-sitting experience, Danielle's communication was excellent. She kept us updated with regular messages and sent us lots of adorable photos of our pups having a fantastic time. It was so reassuring to know that they were well taken care of and having a blast. Danielle's dedication to her pet-sitting responsibilities was genuinely impressive. She went above and beyond to ensure our dogs were comfortable and happy and received all the love and attention they needed. I highly recommend Danielle to anyone looking for a caring and reliable pet sitter. Dean and Darci adore her, and so do we!

Danielle was absolutely amazing from start to finish! She was always quick to respond during the booking process, which made it a breeze. She sent us tons of pictures of our dogs while we were away, which we loved! When you meet her you can tell she will love and care for your dogs as if they were her own! We felt so comfortable leaving our two dogs with her while we were away!

Where do I even begin?!? First, let me tell you how phenomenal Danielle is as a human…and second, how phenomenal she is with dogs. I first met Danielle at an event held for a local animal rescue in Orlando. I showed up with my boy Hooch so we could show our support (and possibly try to find him a sibling lol). Danielle introduced herself and showed so much love to Hooch, he’s a sucker for attention too so he was grinning from ear to ear!! The next event that I went to, she remembered Hooch and his name and I immediately knew she was amazing!! My dogs are my children, they are my life! When my husband and I started planning a recent trip out of town, I began to frantically worry because we weren’t going to be able to take our boys with us on the trip. This was the first trip away from both of our dogs since we adopted our baby Rizzo in February and that made me super anxious. The stars aligned and Danielle, miraculously, was available to watch Hooch and Rizzo for us while we were out of town. My anxiety level went from an 11 to a 0 the moment she said she could take care of them!! While we were away, she made sure to communicate frequently, which included lots of the most amazing photos/videos ever!! I’m pretty certain she’s a professional photographer too because she was able to get our baby to sit still for the best pics he’s ever taken (did I mention he’s a wild and spastic puppy?!? Pure talent and patience!! Lol). She showered them with so much love and attention, I knew I didn’t have to worry about a thing. My boys were absolutely spoiled, and the minute we picked them up, it was easy to see that they missed Ms. Danielle’s house. She is truly one of the kindest and most genuine people and caretakers you could ever hope for! She knows more about dogs and their needs more than anyone I’ve ever had watch them. All I can say is that I hope Danielle will be able to watch my boys every trip! She truly made it a worry-free trip for us, which allowed us to spend the quality time we needed to with family. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being YOU Danielle!! <3

I have a completely fenced in backyard and a doggy door to allow dogs to go outside often in between work breaks during the week (I supervise all outside time). I have numerous crates and dog beds for crate trained dogs, and several baskets of toys. I have ramps and doggy stairs for smaller and older pups to allow them free access to couches, should they be allowed on furniture. I know firsthand what it’s like worrying about choosing the right sitter, especially when you have a medical needs dog or a dog that gets stressed easily. I have had dogs that both sleep in the bed as well as sleep in the crate at night (I have crates in my room). I am happy to accommodate what suits your dog best. To ensure we both feel safe and secure, I ask that you please share proof of vaccination and have a profile photo uploaded. Since I occasionally foster dogs, to ensure the health of all pups, all visitors must be up to date on vaccinations and heartworm meds (preferred those that also protect against a broad spectrum of worms, such as hookworms). I have shared many photos on my profile to help you get to know me!

I do require a meet and greet with my own pup prior to booking so please keep this in mind when planning. Boarders must be able to tolerate my pup (I do monitor all interactions so I can help them settle in, as long as both pups are receptive to it). I feed dogs separately but it’s important to know if a dog has any resource guarding or food aggression so I can take extra care with this. It should also be noted any behavioral concerns so I can take extra care with this as well. I have not injected medication but could be open to this as long as I can be shown the process and the dog is accepting of this. It’s important for me to know if your dog displays dominant behaviors, as this will help me understand how to work with them.

A typical day

Based on a dog’s particular needs I will adjust play time. I have tons of toys and a big fenced backyard for play time. I also have interactive treat toys for mental stimulation. We have a decent sized cul de sac near my house that I love to use for walks, as all the pups seem to love the smells (and my dog friendly neighbor!) on the walk.

I work from home so I remain in the home most weekdays and am able to take breaks to walk dogs regularly and monitor playtime in my fenced backyard. On weekends I am rarely away from home more than 4-8 hours. I generally book for only one household at a time (can be multiple dogs from the same household), which allows me to give your pups all the individual attention they need ❤️ In rare circumstances, I may inquire to book for up to two households, but will seek approval from both households and arrange a meet beforehand to ensure a good fit. I have a lot of experience observing dog behaviors and will guide owners on a slow meet to ensure dogs get along.
