Pet care experience
Hello! Thanks for visiting my page. I have many years of experience working with all types of animals, and dogs are my absolute favorite! My experience includes being a veterinarian technician for three years during college and walking/sitting/training dogs outside of my current professional job as an animal trainer for the last 12 years. We have been active on Rover for 7 years. I grew up on a farm in Texas and have been taking care of animals from a very young age. Before college, I was volunteering at local animal shelters and working as a behavior specialist for puppies. In college, I studied marine biology, where I also worked at a vet hospital and directed the biggest organization on campus geared directly towards animal care and training. I am a military animal trainer by day and I love providing amazing, world-class care for my animals at work and then coming home and giving my clients the same love and attention. Providing my pet parents with peace of mind while they travel is very important to us as my wife and I completely understand how hard it is being away from our animals. Our home sits on 2.5 acres and we have a gigantic fenced backyard, perfect for all dogs! Additionally, we have an endless amount of walking trails as we live right next to a wildlife preserve. My wife, Julie, and I are home all day on the weekends and then I work a few days in Point Loma. Julie works for the school district and has a flexible schedule most days. We provide pick up and drop off services in the San Diego area as we expanded and moved away from the city and now live in the mountain area of Eastern Escondido/Valley Center. We welcome dogs every day of the week, and would love to have your pup come stay with us! We are also very experienced with giving timely medications appropriately and being sensitive with our seniors : ). We have two dogs: Remi (6 years old) and Theo (4 years). Both are extremely sweet and love having friends come stay with them!! Thank you : )

Danielle and Julie have watched our energetic Vizsla on 2 separate occasions for over a week at time and we could not have felt more comfortable with them. They're professional, attentive, and clearly love dogs! They provided photos and updates and we'll gladly use their service again!

We have a fully fenced huge backyard with an additional 2.5 acres of space that is not fenced, but amazing for walks! Additionally, we live next to a wildlife preserve with endless walking trails! Our two dogs, Theo and Remi, will ensure that your dog takes advantage of all the space our fenced backyard has to offer! We never leave anyone outside unattended. This is extremely important to us, and you can feel good knowing they are in great hands. We keep the AC on in the house, so everyone is nice and cool on those hot days. When it comes to feeding, everyone is fed separately for comfort and safety. We strive to make your dog’s vacation the best experience for them! Please provide us with the information to help us best stick to their routine : ) thank you!

As much information as possible to ensure their comfort is always welcomed as we want to stick to their routine as much as possible : ). Please let us know their feeding schedule, if they have any allergies and preference for sleeping arrangements (in our room, in their own room with a bed, couch, dog bed, crate, etc..).
A typical day
We want to know what your dog loves!! We love playing in our backyard, sniffing all the fun things, playing games and taking adorable photos for our pup parents! In the summer, we set up a doggie pool and have pool parties. We have a lot of fun things to look at and explore on our property if your dog loves their walks! We also have the wildlife preserve close by with tons of trails! When we are inside, we have plenty of toys and dog beds for playing & napping throughout the day. At night, we like to wind down by snuggling up with the pups, cook dinner, watch tv or play games.
