Pet care experience
I'm the fur-mama to an English Bulldog who would rather sleep all day than walk. She's so different from the walk-loving Siberian Husky I took care of growing up. Thanks to my dog-loving family and neighbors, I have experience walking, sitting, and bathing all types of dogs including lab-mixes, bulldogs, doodles, Frenchies, Pitbulls, goldens, and beagles. My neighbors call me the Dog Whisperer because even the beagle mix that barks at every passerby will wag her tail and come ask me for pets.

Danielle was great with our dogs. She was reliable and was understanding of our rescue who is very shy. She communicated throughout the visit and took pics so we could see what was taking place. We highly recommend her.
She comes and takes care of a tough dog- who can be very stubborn. :)

I know how to read a dog's body language and tell when she's stressed or uncomfortable. I am always respectful when a doggie says they don't want pets or plays. Your dog's safety and comfort is my priority. My own dog prefers humans to other doggies so I never bring her with me when I'm providing care to other doggies. I know how to get doggies into a crate, how to put on a leash and all types of harnesses, and how to properly pick up and support dogs up to 70 lbs.

How does the dog behave around other dogs? Around kids? What excites the dog (for better and worse)? What is the dog's favorite toy? Biggest fear? What keywords does the owner use during walks or playtime? When I walk or watch another dog, I want to know that dog's demeanor towards other dogs. Some dogs prefer to be alone - and there's nothing wrong with that. If the dog I'm responsible for barks at all the passersby, I want to know how the owner normally handles it. Some dogs are super-friendly and some are super-protective, so I want to know how to interpret the dog's behavior to ensure the dog can be safe and stress-free during our time together.
A typical day
I love exploring new parks with my dog - it gives her a chance to enjoy new smells. I opt for large parks where we can roam without running into too many other people or dogs. One of my favorite parks is Nashotah Park. I also like Sussex Villiage Park. When it's warm enough and if the water is clear, Fox Brook Park is another great place. When it's cold or windy outside, I enjoy providing my doggie belly rubs, cuddles, and a gentle game of tug.

Availability
I own my own caffeine and stress management consulting company so I set my own schedule and all my clients are virtual. I always have time for pet care. I also have a 4-year-old and a 2-year-old so my schedule between 5-9 pm is dedicated to my two-legged-babies instead of my 4-legged-babies.
