Hello! My name is Danielle. I’m a 26 year old looking to walk and take care of dogs (and cats!) in my daily life. The most important thing about me is that I love dogs! I’ve had 5 golden retrievers throughout my life and come from a family of dog lovers. I currently have 2 golden retrievers - Simba and Freddie - who unfortunately don’t live at my place. Most of my dog care experience has been with large and giant dog breeds, but I’m comfortable with all sizes. I love every dog and I have a knack for communicating with them! Lastly, I have a car and an open schedule (I work from home), so taking care of your pets will not be difficult to arrange. Any requests for my care will be met eagerly, no matter your pet’s size or temperament. Thank you for considering me with Rover! * I will no longer be accepting requests for a long term dog walker *

This includes following any rules that the owners have disclosed regarding their temperament and behaviour when out in public and around people and other dogs, as well as where they are allowed to be in the home. I like to be thorough in my understanding of how the pets operate on a daily basis within their home so that I can emulate their schedule and work around their needs.

I would like to know of any rules that you have before taking care of your pet, so that I can respect your wishes. This includes how you would like me feed your dog, where they allowed to sit or be within the house, as well as any health issues, disabilities, etc. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, so I am happy to care for any dog!
A typical day
Every dog I take care of will enjoy long walks, ball/stick/toy chasing, and lots of pets and cuddles. They will have no shortage of love and play! Age and temperament of the dog will always be considered.

I work from home and have flexibility in my work schedule. I’m looking to get out of the house more during the day to go for walks and play with animals. This is the perfect job for me as I have so much love for and experience with dogs and a flexible schedule.
