I've been working in veterinary medicine since 1996. I've worked strictly for emergency and specialty hospitals over the last 10 years. I've also been lead technician at my last 3 places of employment. I come highly recommended by all veterinarians I have worked with as well as fellow technicians. I am taking a break from working in hospitals to care for other people's pets at home. I am willing to do simple tasks such as feeding, walking and scooping litter. I am also willing to administer medications in any form. I am very experienced in administering insulin injections, SQ fluids, oral medications, etc. I am also capable of expressing bladders and caring for dogs or cats with back injuries. I can also do PEG and NG tube feedings. As a service to clients, I offer training sessions on how to perform these tasks on your own. I understand that many times the owner leaves the veterinary office feeling very uneasy about performing these tasks.
