Pet care experience
I have loved animals and all pets since I was a little girl, but went into human healthcare instead of becoming a vet. Since I miss and love animal care so much, I would love the chance to take care of your pets and treat them as my own! The most important goals for me are providing a consistently high quality of pet care service and developing positive relationships with the pets (and owners). I am detail-oriented and know how important it is to follow through on a pet owner's instructions. I maintain open communication at all times. My focus is your pets and your property. I feel like pets should enjoy a sitter (almost😉) as much as they enjoy their owners. The most important credential for you and your family, however, will be meeting me and experiencing the security, comfort, and trust you will feel in leaving your precious companions in my hands.

Danielle was amazing. She was super responsive and easy to work with. Our dog Taz loved her as well. I have nothing but positive things to say and we will definitely be using Danielle again in the future.
Probably the best pet caregiver I’ve had since joining rover! She responds quickly and is flexible with her time. I work long hours some days and have two energetic dogs so having rover was the best choice I made. Danielle is great with them and takes them for the walks they need. Highly recommend!
Every summer we go camping multiple times on weekends and Danielle was able to pet sit for our cat and dog every time. I gave her the dates in spring and she made it happen. I felt safe with her in my home and taking care of my pets. She is responsible and kind, really has the pets' best interests at heart. They get so excited every time they see her. She makes me feel less sad and worried to leave them because I know they're in good hands.
I was out of state for one week and needed someone to dog sit for my baby Lando, he's a golden retriever mix. I had procrastinated on asking around because I thought I would just board him, but last minute I texted her and she responded right away. She stayed over for the week and sent me daily pics of Lando which made me feel more comfortable. When I came home he was obviously happy to see me but I could tell he had been well taken care of. I would recommend her for anyone's pet sitting needs. She really cares and pets love her. She kept my house clean as well which was a plus :).

At my home, I have a fenced-in yard to keep a fur baby safe and can crate if needed. My friends and family bring over their dogs to spend time in the yard frequently and it works out perfectly - we all get to spend time outside and keep the pets safe. When dog sitting, I walk dogs twice per day (or more depending on owner instructions) and take them out as many times as needed. I follow owner's instructions on feeding, commands, home rules, etc. I play with the dogs using toys and reward with treats as per owner recommendations. I have two cats in my home who I have an automatic feeder and a water fountain for, to eat and drink from. They eat twice per day and have plenty of toys and comfortable beds around the house. They love being up high on their cat tree. I keep bird feeders near the windows for them to watch. When cat sitting, I spend time in the home with the cat and provide lots of pets and snuggles if that is what the cat wants.

A typical day
I will take the dog(s) to dog parks, regular parks, outdoor trails, dog bars, walks around town or around the city. I will play outside with the dog, things like fetch, fill up a kiddy pool with water on a hot summer day. Menomonee River Trail is one of my favorites. Or the Bugline trail.

Availability
I recently graduated from grad school and am currently working part time (1-2 times per week) at nearby hospitals and do not start my full time job until September. I am available in the morning and evening on work days, and all other times on my days off since I am just studying for boards.
