Q: Will I receive photos and/or updates?

A: Yes and yes! I offer daily updates, as well as high-quality photos (permitting Fluffy will cooperate for the camera). You can see examples of what to expect in the gallery at the top of my page; the ones that don't include me are photos I've sent to clients.

Q: Can you groom my dog?

A: While I can bathe them, I both no longer have my grooming equipment and have been out of the grooming industry for too long to be comfortable offering this service. I can recommend a number of wonderful local groomers, however!

Q: Are you available for dates that are blocked out?

A: You are more than welcome to ask, but the answer will most likely be no. I try to be as flexible as possible to meet my clients' needs, but I, unfortunately, cannot be in two places at once. If I do have to turn down your request, please know that it makes me sad, too!

Q: Do you accept cats? Other pets?

A: Yes! Details about cat and/or other pet pricing can be found in the above section under "additional pricing information".

Q: The price looks higher than I was expecting. What happened?

A: If you have two or more dogs, the price will initially look higher until I manually adjust for the discount. Rover also occasionally and incorrectly changes the standard rate to holiday, which is an error I can easily fix. If that's not what has happened, you may have added ALL pets, including cats, to your stay. If this is the case, I can manually remove them from the stay. If neither of these are causing the problem, I encourage you to check the price breakdown by clicking the gray ⓘ symbol next to your total.

Q: During which holidays do you charge the holiday rate?

A: New Year's Day/Eve, Memorial Day*, Independence Day*, Labor Day*, Columbus Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving**, and Christmas**.

**Due to increased demand, the holiday rate will be applied if the booking is within the week leading up to either Thanksgiving or Christmas.

Q: My flight was delayed/cancelled! Are you available to stay late/an extra day?

A: I cannot guarantee availability beyond what we initially agreed upon, but I will gladly stay as long as I'm needed if at all possible. I charge for an additional night if asked to stay past 10PM on the original end date, and any additional full days will be added to the existing stay and charged accordingly. If I am NOT available to extend the stay, Rover does have an internal emergency sitter dispatch service.
