Having grown up with dogs, caring for them is just second nature to me. We got our Golden Retriever in 2018 and cannot get enough of him! Having your very own pup is certainly different than a family dog, and has given me a greater appreciation for dogs of all kinds. My favorite thing to do while caring for dogs is take them on a run or walk (dependent on the size/ability). As a runner myself I love to stay active with the dogs, in whatever capacity that might be - playing fetch with the tennis ball/frisbee, playing tug-of-war and more! I am a detail-orientated Executive Assistant and Venue Owner (Northern Oaks Events) by day and a fun-loving, passionate and adventurous dog lover & wife by night. You can count me to give your fur baby the best care. I now work from home and can be with pets all day long! I utilize my lunch break to let the dogs out for an extended period of time, but am around to let them out and play with them throughout the day. We start by learning more about the pet and how they interact with me and our home. Generally we like to crate them while we are out of the house (for an errand), but if we are comfortable enough that they won't have accidents or chew on anything we will leave them out to roam. This is the same scenario with outside time - If they seem calm and like they will stick around we will take them off the leash. Otherwise we keep them on the leash while we are outside.
