Pet care experience
I love all animals and have spent most of my life working with them. I currently own my own dog- a black working cocker spaniel called Max. I spend all my time with my dog, and out walking is my favourite thing to do! I have 5 years experience of working as a veterinary nurse, and 18 months of experience running my own pet care business, which ranges from dog walking to cat pop in visits (and everything in between) I thoroughly enjoyed my job and my business was my pride and joy. I have recently moved back to the North East after living in the West Midlands for 8 years. Now I am settled back here and have rediscovered the wonderful places to walk, I would love to start walking your fur babies too! I also would love to be able to pop by and provide pet care visits, I love cats too! I treat every animal I encounter as my own, I have genuine love and compassion for all animals. Danielle walked my 1 yr old dog de bourdoux Bronson who is a big dog and was very apprensive anyone else walking him in case they couldn’t handle him pulling, Danielle is a brilliant lady and has put my mind at rest she’s the only person I’d trust with bronson, thanks again Danielle for your time and love for bronson.
Danielle is a genuine loving person I trust her 100% with my little Shihtzu Charlie. She is great with him he loves her too. I don't trust many people with him as he is a bit of a handful sometimes but with Danielle I know he is in safe hands. Such a caring person you can tell she loves animals and she can cope with them will definitely be using her again in the future
Dani is amazing! I’d trust no one other than her. Her knowledge is extensive and her treatment to animals is super caring. She’s one of only a few people who truly cares deeply about every animal she meets. She put my mind at ease with my pooch who’s nervous aggressive, she handled her gently and let her come round in her own time. My dog now loves dani and I know when she’s under Dani’s care that she is looked after to the best standard possible. Thank you Dani for always being awesome and amazing! Xxx
Danielle has been dog sitting my 2 year old Labrador for a couple of weeks now.. was a bit wary letting a stranger look after my fur baby, but she put me total at ease, visited our home before looking after Dexter for us, and Dexter has taken to Danielle straight away, you can tell how much she loves pets and is highly recommended by me and Dexter!

General temperament. How they are with new people, strangers. How they are with other animals particularly other dogs if walking in public. How they behave in public, for example anxiety around traffic? Scared of other dogs? Aggressive towards other dogs? Friendly to people? Due to working in a veterinary practice I have experience with a wide range of breeds. I love all dog breeds and truly believe there isn't such thing as a bad breed, behaviours come from all sorts of influences in a dogs life, plus each dog is individual and will react dependent on how they are as a dog. I am familiar with dogs reacting different to what the owner expects when they are not around due to working in practice. I can read a dogs body language to judge how to handle a situation. I put the safety and welfare of all people and the animals first.
A typical day
There are lots of beautiful dog friendly parks near me. I have my own transport therefore can take your dog to a variety of places. I will always ensure owners are happy with this beforehand and let your dog familiarise themselves with me before travelling short distance if day sitting. Can be long distance if you are on holiday) I can set up enrichment in my garden to play, with your dogs favourite toys. There will always be something to occupy their little minds.
