❤️Pet Services, At Your Service!❤️

Pet care experience

❤️"Loving care when you're not there!"❤️ Heading out of town and need a sitter? Have a pet that needs a daycare session? I'm here for you! We're excited to meet you and your pets! Follow our adventures on Instagram! @firstclasspetpros We have about 1/2 acre fenced in on our 3 acres of land backing up to Beaverdam Lake. Our fence is a state of the art chew proof, climb proof and dig proof fence designed for city dog parks. About me--- ~*~Recertified for Pet First Aid and CPR in Feb 2017 ~*~ Background checked! I am a stay-at-home mom of two teenage boys, ages 18 & 16. I grew up with multiple dogs, and I rescued and fostered dogs starting in 1998 right after graduating college. I also volunteered with numerous dog rescue organizations over the years, helping them with publicity and fundraising. I have trained and cared for puppies from 10 weeks old through geriatric dogs (17+ years old). And I've cared for dogs ranging from ones quite small (a whopping 2lb Yorkie 10 week old puppy!) to the very large (130lb+ German Shepherds and Mastiffs), and numerous breeds including hyperactive herding ones! We play with the pets to exercise them physically as well as mentally with canine enrichment games! I have regularly handled raw food feedings, from measuring to adding supplements, fish oil, and raw chicken necks or feet as treats. I’m quite used to it! I have provided regular daily medications including oral pills, ear/ eye drops, topical meds as well as insulin shots and am accustomed to any special needs care. Our children, now teenagers, were also raised with dogs and can read body language and assist with care. In general, we have provided a loving and caring home for multiple dogs at a time our entire lives. We started boarding after having some rough experiences with kennels when our dogs came home hoarse from barking the whole time! We also never received updates not pictures, which left us wondering how they were adapting, and whether they were eating. Because of this, we are looking to help others with their pet needs to make their pet relationships even more fulfilling. We typically only board 2-3 dogs at a time, except during holidays with regular client dogs we know to be good with other dogs. *** We're also happy to care for multiple dogs from a single family as we personally know how hard it can be to separate pets into different homes, and how expensive it is to board multiples! We DISCOUNT for multiples! *** MY SERVICES: ~ BOARDING at my home for the night! Your pet joins my family while you're gone! We snuggle on the couch, go for walks, play fetch in the yard and do all the feedings. They can sleep in bed with any member of our family, or in their crate in one of our bedrooms. We spoil them like they're our own babies! This can be for just 1 night or up to 1 month or more! ~ DOGGY DAYCARE is done at my home during the workday! The dogs come in the morning and go home around dinner. This is ideal for pups who just don’t want to be stuck in a crate or left home alone for 6-10 hours of the day. At my house, we’ll run in the yard, chase balls, snuggle on the couch and play brain games or practice training commands! No long term commitment needed. ~ DROP IN VISITS at your home are 30 mins and can include dog and cat feeding, short walk or romp in the yard, snuggling, litter change and any special healthcare needs. I also can check the mail and bring in the newspaper, water plants, take out trash/ recycling and even alternate your lights and blinds to give your home that "lived in" look for security. I usually do 3-4 drop ins a day allowing your pet to receive the attention and love it needs while staying in its own familiar home. (Cats must have at least 1 visit each day for pet safety.) ~ DOG WALKING services are 30 min walks and can also include midday feeding for puppies/ younger dogs along with leash training and teaching/ reinforcing their basic commands. I always refill their water bowls and I also add ice after walks on hot days. The main goal is to tire out the dog on a nice long walk, provided the weather is good or even bad! If it's pouring or sleeting, then shorter walks for potty and then indoor play and training sessions are on tap to wear them out! I love to provide mental stimulation for them.

Danielle was an outstanding care giver to my cat while we were away. I never used a stranger to watched my cat before. We scheduled to meet prior to vacation so she could meet us and my cat so he could get to know her and his schedule. I felt completely at ease once I met her my stress level went away and I knew he would be well taken care of. The entire week away Danielle sent me pictures and let me know he was doing great! I am so happy to have found her she is now part of our family! Thank you Danielle I will be calling you for another visit soon . Kind revards, Karen

Information Danielle H. would like to know about your pet

I want your dog's stay to be wonderful and that they feel like they're at home! Some helpful details to make the dog's stay the best it can be would be for me to know-- If the dog is off-leash, can it be under voice control. If the dog has any food or toy aggression. If the dog has separation anxiety and what soothes them best. If the dog has leash aggression on walks. If the dog is good with other dogs. Are there any food allergies, or does the dog require medicines? Are there any tricks or behaviors you'd like us to practice/ reinforce? Are your pets allowed on the furniture or to sleep in beds w us or our teens? *Please bring your pet's food, favorite treats, and a toy, bedding, or something with their owners scent on it to provide comfort. * We can provide stainless steel feeding bowls as well as dog beds to lounge in.

A typical day

It's like a vacation for your pets at our lakeside retreat! When your dog stays with us, we can play in our fenced yard or go on boat rides and trips to the pond. Car rides. Adventures to PetSmart, Lowe's, or other dog friendly stores. Tons of brain games with a focus on canine enrichment! Paw paintings or clay paw print ornaments. Mini photo sessions. Pupaccinos at Starbucks. Lots of cuddles and nap times together on the couch. We can also take high energy dogs out for a nice long run! You let us know what your dog likes to do for fun, and we'll try to oblige!
