I love animals.own a dog,cat,rabbit,guinea pig,2 lizards,2 robo hamsters, hermit crabs and fish. I also love to take vacations and I know it's hard to find a place for all of my babies. I would love to help you out by providing you with a loving pet environment. I am a FCPS Instuctional Assistant in the special education program. I have 4 almost all grown children and my 18 and 26 year old live with me and enjoying helping out with the pups. Right now we have 2 cats living with us and our new Pug puppy named Brodie. All 3 get along well with other animals although the initial introduction can be overwhelming for the puppy as he wants to play. I keep accurate data and paperwork for each client and use daily photos and videos to keep you updated. Each pup receives a goody bag when they leave and I have a survey for you to complete at your leisure to help me better serve my clients.

I allow pets on my furniture unless it is a no-no for you. I feed them in separate areas so they have their own space. I use treats for positive behavior and water is always available. I am happy to use crates if you supply them.

The dogs daily schedule (feeding, bathroom routines, fears like loud noises, allergies or current medication that I need to administer and comfort strategies.!I also pet sit for cats, small caged animals, bunnies, fish, reptiles, hermit crabs.....pretty much everything except birds (because of my cats!). Feel free to contact me if you are in need of other pet sitting needs besides dogs!
A typical day
My back yard and walking path behind my house are woods. I do a daily tick check and I also use a flea comb before they leave for home. Because of the woods I would suggest rechecking your dog(s) when you get them home. I use a leash to walk them in the neighborhood. Occasionally, they venture off the path to go to the bathroom or smell something interesting. There are a lot of trees, bushes and branches that they can run into not to mention various little creatures.

Availability
I am on the FCPS schedule during the week but have holidays and teacher work days off. The pups will be walked before and after my work on regular school days. The weekends are free and my favorite time hanging out with the pups!
