Pet care experience
I have been around dogs my entire life. I grew up with Alaskan Malamutes and German Shepherds. I worked at my vet’s office for three years walking and caring for the dogs that were boarded there or recovering from surgery. And since I was 12 years old I have always had at least one cat, usually two or three! I started dog sitting/walking for friends who were volunteers for Golden Retriever Rescue of Wisconsin and then I joined the Rover community four years ago where I have met and cared for so many amazing dogs, big and small! When it comes to your pet, I can do it all! Walks, medication if needed, playing (my favorite part!), cuddles, food and treats! Whatever your pet needs, I would love to help! My husband and I and our son currently have a Siberian Husky named Harley as well as three cats (MooMoos, Nermal and Squeaky Pea). I look forward to meeting you and your wonderful pets!

I don't have a breed preference. I will sit and walk dogs of any size. I like to know about any specific behaviors a dog may have, what are their likes and dislikes in terms of food, play activities, are they scared of anything like thunder or fireworks, and if so what is the best way to comfort them in such situations. How are they on walks? Any pulling? Are they OK walking by other dogs? Are they housebroken? Do they let you know when they need to go outside?
A typical day
I like to go on walks around the neighborhood and can walk dogs for up to an hour if that is what they need! I like to play ball/fetch, rope tug, any games your dog loves to play.
