Pet care experience
I've been a pet owner basically my entire life. I've owned almost every type of domesticated animal you can think of so I'm pretty good at keeping things alive. I've been a mom to dogs of all ages in various weigh classes, cats, a ferret, hamsters and several lizards (bearded dragons, a leopard gecko, a veiled chameleon). I have experience with dog breeding, weaning/potty-training and elderly dog caretaking. I've been a sitter with Rover for a over 3 years now and I absolutely love what I do. I don't really know why but all dogs seem to like me. Maybe they sense my laid back personality right away or they know that I'm confident in my experience but I can handle pretty much any animal you have - from newborn kittens to Great Danes to iguanas. So I would love the opportunity to meet your animal family members.

Danielle, came in on the clutch last minute booking with me and I'm thankful and grateful for her flexibility. Her working experience with older dogs and especially with mine who has an issue seeing, she has been extra careful around specific places with him which I greatly appreciate. Also, she provided photos and just went above and beyond what normal pet sitters would do. Plus, I'm a first time user of Rover so I was a bit anxious and apprehensive of the service, and I heard good reviews on various sitters. Danielle gets a 5 star for putting up with my multiple messages and I scored low for not chilling out 😆
We reached out to Danielle last minute as a result of a change in our plans during a holiday week. She stopped by quickly to meet the pups and made herself available right away for us. She sent us pictures and checked in with us while we were away, so we felt confident and comfortable knowing she was with our dogs.
We had a very good time and Danielle was very good with my baby. I will go back to her again as needed and would recommend her for my friends as well

A typical day
During a boarding stay, dogs will have free range to go in and out the doggie door to the fenced in backyard. We have an acre for them to explore. (Cats, not so much. If your cat is an indoor cat, they will stay indoors.) I will do my best to accommodate pets that don't play well with others and need their own separate space. For dog-walking clients, I will occasionally take them to local dog parks (if parents allow) so they can meet new friends and explore new places.

Availability
I am available 24/7/365. I can usually accommodate requests for same day service or with very short notice. I try my best to accept short notice requests because I know that just like with having children, owning a pet doesn't have holidays and sometimes things come up last minute. Sometimes us humans need to do things without our animals tagging along and that's why I offer services thru Rover. I want to help other humans find a way to make pet ownership as stress free as possible and enable them to take care of the "people things" they need to do without having to worry about their pet being comfortable, safe and happy in the meantime. I send updates as frequently as an owner prefers and I structure communication based on YOUR preferences. My repeat clients will typically have first priority because I prefer to have a relationship with the animals I care for but I appreciate the opportunity to meet new friends and will never turn down new clients if I have the availability. My goal is to make your pet feel comfortable and you feel confident that your pet will be safe when they are with me.
