Pet care experience
I have owned dogs my whole life and have experience caring for dogs as delicate as Maltese puppies to as big as 140 lbs adult Otter Hounds My dog, Roxy, was 16 when she passed in April, 2022. I also have cats (a tabby named Teddy and a large tuxedo lovingly nicknamed “Chonk”), and Devon Rex cat, Yuki, that I am co-raising with my boyfriend. I have lots of experience caring and sitting for dogs and cats. Young or old, big or small, you can trust me that your pet will be well taken care of and well loved.

Danielle is a very caring individual who has proven herself reliable time and time again with watching my dogs. I have four dogs, a pitbull that's full of energy, a boxer, a Shiba Inu, and a border collie Shiba, and she is simply wonderful with them. Even though she knows the routine and schedule for feeding and taking the dogs out we always check in and she assures us that they have been well taken care of. She plays with the dogs, excersizes them (walks, fetch, etc.) And makes sure they are always happy during the day and night. I highly recommend Danielle to anyone with large or small dogs as she is very well trained with them and always loving towards all animals.

I always make sure to spend some time getting to know your animal. If I am coming into their space, I want them to feel comfortable with me. I will spend lots of time giving treats and pets before providing a service and always use positive enforcement.

I have no breed preferences, I love all dogs equally. Before I sit a dog I would like to know if they have destructive tendencies or are/aren’t house trained. I will also need to know if they are friendly around other dogs and how they are on a leash. Generally I would also like to know the house rules/ behavior rules for your animal so I can enforce them while taking care of them.
A typical day
On walks I can follow a designated route, or create a new one. Upon special request, I can bring the dog to a close by park or dog park, or even hiking. If the dog is good off leash, we can play fetch or games on the walks. If your dog is elderly or disabled but would still like to go outside, I can carry them around.

I work full time so I am available to watch or visit your animals early in the mornings (before 8 AM) or later in the day (after 6:30 PM).
