Your Go-To Dog Sitter!

Pet care experience

Growing up, I have cared for the most loving mini schnoodle for a good portion of my life. As he has gotten older, he has developed cataracts and has torn his ACL. Safe to say he requires a lot of extra love and attention, and I can’t help but give it to him. I have cared for dogs from chihuahuas to labs to bernese mountain dogs, and from high to low energy. I promise to provide the best care for you pup, and am a sitter you can always trust. I believe in allowing dogs to explore and get out of the house as much as possible. I strive to live an active lifestyle, and get out and about as much as I can. I would love for your dog to tag along with me!

Danielle was an amazing sitter for my pup, had great contact and communication and was able to adapt quickly at changing schedules!

Danielle is the best dog sitter around - we cannot say enough good things! She has watched both of our Golden Retriever pups, Jackson and Toby, as well as our golden doodle Tank. She is so gentle with them, adequately exercises them, and sends daily updates while we are away so we know how they are doing. She will take them on long walks to tire them out, as well as snuggle with them when they need some down time. Our oldest Golden, Toby, is a senior and Danielle is great with meeting his needs exercise wise, as well as giving him any needed medication. Jackson on the other hand is a puppy, and Danielle knows exactly how to tire him out and handle his energy. I would recommend Danielle to anyone in the area as she is our go to dog sitter!!

Safety, trust & environment

Before getting too comfortable with a dog, I kneel down to their level and give them the opportunity to smell me and check me out. I never rush them. Once they are comfortable, I will give them some love, then make sure to secure their collar first, and then clip the leash on. Then I will slip the loop of the leash through my hand and wrap it once so it does not get loose. We go for a good walk, then when we return I allow them some water (not too much) and maybe a treat if allowed before saying goodbye.

Information Danielle B. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors that I can account for. If there are any special tips or tricks that would be helpful to know before going to see the dog, that would be great to know so I can be prepared.

A typical day

We will definitely go for a good walk, as long as the dog is up for it. I do keep in mind the dog’s age and the temperature outside. I love walking around the park, and around the neighborhood.

I am a teacher with summers off. I come and go a lot in the summer, but I make sure my calendar is up to date with my availability. When I’m home, I couldn’t think of anything better to do.
