Hi! I'm a graduate student currently interning as a mental health counselor, and I've had dogs in my life since I was a baby. My parents run a dog rescue, so growing up, I got very comfortable making friends with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments on short notice. I've also pet-sat and walked dogs for the past several years, worked at a vet's office a few years ago. I love a good walk, cuddles, fetch, tug-of-war...you name it. I also have a dog of my own, a three-legged, fluffy little gal named Foxy, who loves the idea of walks but once we're out, often sits and basks in the sun. A few more personal, non-pet related details: I have a degree in creative writing and taught college English and ESL before going back to school to become a mental health counselor. I tutor kids and teens in ELA and test prep, and I work at a college writing center when I'm not interning at a college counseling center. I traveled often before my 30s and hope to build a career that allows for more of it. I love people as much as I love animals, and eventually hope to bring writing therapy and pet therapy into my practice. I can't wait to meet and care for your pups :)
