About 6 months ago, I returned from 2 years in Senegal serving as a Health volunteer with the Peace Corps. I now live just above Green Lake in a cute townhouse with my two friends. We don't have any pets and I'm always missing doggy cuddles and a running/walking companion. Growing up, I lived on a farm with two dogs we raised from puppies. I was a competitive runner and I would take my dog, Benny, out on runs every weekend. He loved it! As a teenager, I volunteered for years at the Everett animal shelter walking dogs. At the shelter, they give you extensive training in how to approach nervous dogs and educate all walkers on the meaning behind a dog's body language. I have experience with all types of dogs, big and small, and have always been an animal person. Your dog will be in patient, friendly hands! I can't wait to meet them :)

I love all dogs! I would just like to know any of their little quirks beforehand (do they respond to specific commands, do they have a strict eating schedule, do they like to be pet in a certain way, do we give treats consistently? etc)
A typical day
Green Lake is just a few minute walk away! Your pup and I will take walks or runs around the lake. My friends love to join and would probably come down to throw a ball or Frisbee if your dog likes to fetch. If your pup is more of a short walk/cuddles kind of breed, we can curl up on the couch and watch a movie together. I'm flexible!
