Hello! I have had a dog and cat for 10 years now and was previously an employee at Queen Village Animal Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. I am in Birmingham full-time now applying to medical school. I LOVE animals and miss working with them daily. I will run with your dog, keep your home spotless if I am staying in your house, and go the extra mile to make sure your pet is comfortable and happy while you are away! I have experience with animals of all types including pets with medical issues: thyroid problems, diabetes, gastrointestinal problems, and more. I am comfortable giving animals medication if this is something that your dog needs while you are away. I hope to have the chance to meet you!

I cannot think of anyone I would want to walk my dog more than Daniella. She is responsible, organized, energetic, fun and absolutely loves animals. Not only does she have years of experience caring for animals of all kinds in a great variety of settings but she also has endless energy and an upbeat personality that will allow her to keep up with even the spunkiest of pups.
Daniella is amazing with animals of all breeds and species. She not only has her own pets, but she has also been taking care of neighborhood animal companions for many years. She has also worked at the National Aviary in Pittsburgh, for a veterinary clinic, and conducted primate research. After almost applying to vet school, she recently decided on medical school, but would have been a wonderful veterinarian as well. She has an extremely kind and caring personality and takes note to the littlest of details. You would not regret allowing her to care for your animal best friends! :-)

I would like to know if your dog does not like the company of other animals or people, and if he/she enjoys running. My favorite breeds are labs, golden retrievers, shepherds, but I am not biased toward any breed, big or small.
A typical day
I love walking dogs in Jemison Park, Oak Mountain Park, Red Mountain Park, and throughout Mountain Brook and Liberty Park. The dog bones at Crestline Bagels are my family's dog's favorite and I'm sure yours would love one too! If possible, I love bringing dogs to Avondale Brewery to hang out and enjoy the company of other dog lovers.
