I have a dog but he is never left unsupervised with other animals and is always crated when I am not around . He is great with all animals and knows he isn’t allowed to chase any small animals like cats. I also have an extra room in my house which will be used for cats that I board. This is so that your cat doesn’t have to stress about interacting with any of my pets and they can relax in their own quiet room while you’re away. As for dogs this will depend on if they are crate trained or not. I personally crate my dog when I am not at home or actively watching him this is because I spend roughly 4 hours a day training, walking, feeding, etc so he gets plenty of time out of the crate to do things. That being said when I have dogs in my care they are given their own private room if they are not crate trained or crated if they are crate trained when I am not around. I have a separate area in my yard that has a large outdoor kennel where my dog will be separate from yours so that your dog can enjoy the entire back yard for bathroom/play breaks without having to interact with my dog.
