Welcome, all! We (Eric and Daniella) are crazy dog owners just like you, and we went out of our way to apply for Rover to be able to give your pets the love and care we feel OUR dogs deserve when WE go away! We are very lucky and thankful that we have family right around the corner from us to stay with our fur babies if we went away and couldn't take them with us, and because of that we have decided to give back and be of service to all the many families who aren’t as lucky as us. We are in it for the dogs, because we care so deeply for our own, that it is hard not to fall in love with yours. We always strive to provide a safe and nurturing atmosphere to aid and facilitate your pups stay with us and use this stay to further guide and teach them even more people and dog skills by broadening their horizons with new faces and experiences, as well as exercise their energy and truly help them grow through a potentially otherwise worrisome time, all while enjoying the company of our wild dogs who LOVE when we get to stay with new or old pups! Before anything else, we are dog owners ourselves, to two HIGH ENERGY, wonderful, active, intelligent and loving hunting dogs (female German Shorthaired Pointer and Black Lab.) We believe in the concept of having dogs not to fulfill our own selfish human needs, but instead to fulfill the needs our dogs have before our own- and truly striving to provide the best living scenario we can for them. We did not apply for Rover because we have the perfect house and set up to stay with dogs, we do this because we care deeply for the families and for dogs that need love, affection, care and a safe, warm home with other doggie friends to socialize with and maintain a pack mentality as well as help distract them and love them in a way humans are unable to while their parents are away, because we know what it feels like to be on the other end and be unsure of how our pets are doing and being treated or cared for in the hands of others. Our hearts are big and open and ultimately strive to always have your pets best interest in mind. Safety, plenty of affection and cuddle time, play time, running around the yard with our dogs, and much, much more are just some of the daily requirements when staying with us!
