Young professional with a decade of pet and home care experience for Colorado families. Returned US Peace Corps Volunteer with a flexible remote job—this means I can stay at your home full time if you need me to. I’ve had pups of my own and feel comfortable catering to your dog’s needs including medicine routines (oral), walks & even runs if you have a very energetic breed. As mentioned in my photo gallery, my husband supports me with care when there are multiple dogs, large pups to exercise, or daily garden watering needs. He only assists me with prior client approval. 🐈💕🐈⬛ Can’t forget about the kitties! As many sitters on here, I offer discounted rates for my feline buddies.

Daniela was communicative, asked questions and responded immediately. She sent photos of my dog doing daily activities such as walks, chasing the ball and treat time. She left my house clean (vacuumed), sheets and towels clean. I would recommend her and will use her in the future.
Dani is always the best with Kit! She sends tons of pics and is very communicative during her stay. Kit loves to hangout with Dani and gets lots of cuddles and pets and playtime while I'm away. I always know she's being left in good hands! 🥰
Dani was a wonderful sitter to our two boys. They are big and high-energy, and she was able to hang in there with them! Dani was communicative and transparent, which was a huge relief for us while we were away. Dani was respectful of our home, and everything was extremely tidy when we returned. She helped bring packages in, helped with plant care, and took care to make sure she was looking after our home. We would happily book with Dani again if she’d be open to it. I am certain she would show the same care to our boys and our home to anyone she sits for.

🪴🌷💧🗑 ♻️ ✉️📬📦 While house sitting I can also take care of plant/garden watering, taking out trash/recycle containers to the curb, gathering mail/receiving packages, and other basic requests while you are away. 🐟 🐹 🐦 🦎 🐍 I can also include complimentary* care for low maintenance animals like fish/hamsters/guinea pigs/reptiles/birds. I’ve had experience with collecting eggs from chicken coops. *💲An additional fee will be added for longer bookings for these critters that would require habitat enclosure cleaning or additional duties. 🏠 🍽 🚰 🛒🧴 I value respect, safety, and kindness for your pet, belongings, and household. In my view, the home is one’s sanctuary and it’s a privilege to be a welcomed guest in yours. Let me know what your boundaries are around sleeping arrangements, food, and supply usage in your home. Transparency about what you are comfortable with is key! I’m flexible, and will follow your lead on your invitations & house rules. 🛌💤✋⛔️🎥 My preference is to sleep in a designated guest room, but I’m flexible to what you have to offer in your home as long as it’s clean and fully private. I totally understand the purpose and need to have pet/security cameras around your home, but would require that they aren’t around my designated sleeping/bathroom area. I appreciate that many clients are very generous and often time offer me their groceries. This is not my expectation of you, and by default I provide my own meals. 🧻🧼 🧺 🧽 🪣🫧 🧹 At minimum, I expect overnight booking clients to provide basic supplies including: -A set of clean bed linens/towels -Hand and dish/dishwasher soap -Clean kitchen rags and/or paper towels -Toilet paper -Laundry supplies for pet messes/cleaning linens & towels -Disinfecting & cleaning supplies of your choice both for pet messes, as well as to wipe down surfaces I use at the conclusion of my stay.

What are your pet’s preferences, sensitivities, likes & dislikes? Are you aware of behavioral issues I may encounter with your pet? How would you like me to address behavioral issues? What is their personality like? Have they experienced abuse or a negative encounter with another owner or pet in the past? Is there a certain way they like to be approached? Do they have gut issues? Will they use any verbal/non verbal cues to communicate specific needs? Am I allowed to transport your pet in my car for trail walks nearby? In case of an emergency, how will vet bills be covered while you are away? I want to be as informed as possible to provide the most personalized care, and to ensure the wellbeing of your pet(s) as well as my own.
A typical day
Walks/outings: can be around your home, trails in the Firestone, Frederick, Niwot, Boulder, Longmont, Erie, northeast Broomfield/east Westminster, and North Thornton/Brighton areas. Harnesses are preferred for larger dogs if possible. If you prefer that I don’t walk your pup, we can play on your property as instructed. Fetch, tug of war, and scratches/rubs are all in the plan if your pet wants them to be!

Availability
🗓⏰🚙✅ My availability for care is generally open throughout the year, although my calendar does book up quickly with other personal obligations. I also block off extended chunks of time for special occasions/vacations on my calendar. I make it a priority to avoid non-essential personal errands, and to communicate my whereabouts for maximum accountability while providing my services. That being said, if I have a standing plan that was made prior to your request (i.e. medical appt., dinner with my husband, a short family celebration, etc.), I will communicate it up front prior to committing to a booking. My intention in doing so is to gauge your comfort level with me being off site and away from your pet for a few hrs. This typically applies to longer house sitting stays (3+ nights). With past clients, this has ranged from me being away anywhere from 1-6+ hrs at a time, depending on their pet’s needs and the percentage of time they expected me to be at their home. Everyone is different on this type of flexibility, so I like to define clear boundaries around this to have a solid agreement ahead of time. 💼👩🏻💻🗂☕️📝 My primary job is remote, with occasional local errands/in person staff meetings throughout the year. This allows me to accommodate requests in a wide radius of this regional Front Range area, and to reliably remain in your home the majority of the time during a booking. I would require a reliable Wi-Fi connection to stay in your home the majority of the weekdays (M-F). My workflow is highly independent, and I can plan my projects accordingly to be able to provide your pet(s) ongoing care during the day. I pride myself on my ability to balance my commitment to your family, while also honoring my primary job. My employer is well aware and supportive of my supplemental job as a pet caretaker. My Rover pet clients constantly make guest appearances in my Zoom meetings 😊
