When answering the question "how many years of experience do I have taking care of dogs?", the answer was simple: 29 years (my whole life). I've grown up with dogs since day 1. Back home I have 3 dachshunds and in live in NY with Rafaeli, my gorg 5 year old long-haired dachshund. I feel so guilty when I have to leaver her alone so I understand why you're looking to Rover! Just know that I would play, treat them, make them have a good time so for a second, they stop missing their loved ones. Rafi is also the gentlest and loves handing out with dogs so she'd be a great team sport! She barely even barks and just loves to play and hang.
