I have gained experience volunteering at a Humane Society shelter. In the past couple of years, I've taken care of a wide range of dogs, mainly large dogs such as Huskies, Shepherds, and Mutts. In different stances, I've been responsible for giving them daily walks, feeding, bathing and taking them to dog parks. I'd say my biggest source of learning dog behavior is my own dog who I rescued and he was definitely not the easiest because he had clear signs of previous abuse and even though it took us some time to get used to each other he has recovered from his trauma thanks to having the correct routine and needed attention. Nothing makes me happier than spending time with the four legged bundles of joy!
