Daniel is great with dogs! He has taken excellent care of two of my dogs for many years and they absolutely love spending time with him!

Daniel is incredibly loving and responsible. When he says he will do something, he does it and does it well! He is playful and kind. As someone who is in love with my dog, I know how important it is to leave him only with someone who is completely trustworthy. Daniel is that person.

Daniel is a natural with dogs - he loves them, and they love him. He's very sensitive to their needs and wants, and can find ways to have fun with dogs of all ages and play styles.

Your dog's needs? My top priority.

I've had dogs in my life for as long as I can remember, and being around them, I've learned a lot about their behavior. Just like any person, dogs need love, affection, attention. I take great pleasure in being around dogs and providing them that attention. I have a fair amount of experience with dogs of remarkably different energy levels, from totally hyperactive to totally relaxed, and I try and match their energy to give ...

What Daniel would like to know about your dog

I don't have breed preferences (though I am personally partial to labs, retrievers, and Australian Shepherds) but I would at least like to know a bit about the dog's needs before sitting them. For example, is the dog a little lazier or more hyper? Does the dog like to fetch and play tug-of-war, or is the dog more likely to play with toys on their own? Does the dog like to run or just to walk? How well-trained is the dog (i.e. are there any specific commands that I should know for going to the bathroom, heeling, et cetera)?

There are a lot of stimulating and exciting areas around the downtown Colorado Springs area that are easy to access, such as America the Beautiful Park. Beyond just walking, especially higher-energy dogs need some other play, too, so going to a dog park with some toys would definitely be on the agenda as well-- there are several within only a few miles of where I'm located in the Springs, all well-regarded. Some fetch, some tug-of-war, some play-wrestling does a dog well.
