I've had dogs in my life for as long as I can remember, and being around them, I've learned a lot about their behavior. Just like any person, dogs need love, affection, attention. I take great pleasure in being around dogs and providing them that attention. I have a fair amount of experience with dogs of remarkably different energy levels, from totally hyperactive to totally relaxed, and I try and match their energy to give the dogs what they need. I have some experience with handling dogs, as well, as I've done some dog photography in the past; it takes quite a lot of patience and attention that I believe all effective pet-care requires, whether you're just walking the dog or sitting them for a while. I intend to give every client's dog my full attention and care, to guarantee that they get what they need, and the client does as well. While I have not cared for dogs on a professional level before, I have had dogs longer than I haven't, and am pretty well-accustomed to spending time with dogs of different energy levels and attitudes. I am a full-time student, but on a schedule that permits a decent amount of flexibility in my schedule, especially for activities like this.
