This is my second review for Daniel. He had an issue with my cat while I was out of town and it was a bit stressful for my cat. However, Daniel was very attentive to my cat and made sure he was as comfortable as he could be while they waited for my arrival.

I will never use this sitter again. This comes as a surprise because I’ve used him twice in the past and have had great experiences with him with no complaints. I booked services with Daniel, today March 15 - 17 to babysit my pup. He ACCEPTED a drop off time RANGE (Rover makes you select RANGES) between 2-4 pm and pick-up range between 3-5 pm. In the past, I felt like he was a bit pushy with pick up times (but I understand folks have a life outside of dogsitting, and need to plan their lives) so I never complained. Yesterday (3/14), he messaged me via rover and asked if I can be more specific with my pick up and drop off times (AGAIN ROVER MAKES YOU SELECT RANGES… AND HE ALREADY ACCEPTED MY REQUEST WITH MY RANGES). I told him because I am TRAVELING I will let him know closer to the time just in case there are any delays. He was pushy and I stated that for pick up, I would lean closer to the 2pm time range. Today, I called him around 1:45 pm and let him know that as soon as my meeting ended (AT 2 PM) I will head his way. I ended up at his location at 2:15, and he charged me a late fee and refused to watch my pup unless I paid. Mind you, the RANGE THAT HE AGREED TO IS FROM 2-4 pm. It is 2:15. His rationale was “because you said 2 pm and you were not here at 2pm on the dot, you’re late”. He then told me he doesn’t like the fact that Rover gives the option for ranges. Again, let me remind the class that HE ACCEPTED THE REQUEST WITH THE RANGES. I told him I was not paying because I am well within the range we agreed. Seeing him think through this in-person and try to explain things nonsensically was hard to watch and honestly incredulous to witness. I was so uncomfortable and concerned for my pup if I left him, I cancelled in his face and drove off. This interaction made me concerned that someone like this was watching my. Not sure if he’s going through a hard financial time, but it seemed predatory and I hope he gets whatever figured out. 0/10.
