I've been with Rover for 4 year. I've cared for big and small dogs. I'm strict with instructions. Past clients had dogs that need medications, special treatments(disabled, aggression, etc) and I've handled it pretty well. I always keep dogs on a tight leash and Im always making sure they're by my side in case they try to run out the house or onto the street. Since Covid, i've been working from my computer so I would not be leaving the house for most of the day. I'll be by their side. I raised a German Shepard lab mix growing up. When I walk dogs I usually power walk or run with them in the park. I'm a patience person that has experience dealing with dogs with anxiety. During these summer months I have an open availability. I have experience taking care of dogs with disabilities. (blind, deaf). I am cautious to keep my dogs safe. I always make sure the harness/ leash is on correctly and firmly and am always prepared for any sneaky behavior from them. My worst fear is a dog getting off leash and running around in the street. If I'm not at home, I would probably be at the gym or traveling. I'll adjust anything needed to fit the clients needs. I’ve had last minute changes/notices that i don’t mind adjusting. Having a dog sleep on the same bed is also okay.
