Pet care experience
Life long dog owner experienced with the needs and behaviors of both large and small breeds. I care about all animals and utilize only positive training and reinforcing techniques. I currently volunteer as a dog walker at the Cocheco Valley Humane Society. Many of the dogs I walk at the shelter have special needs and behavioral issues. I am capable and comfortable with providing common medications to your animal.

Dan was fantastic!!! Communicated with me a couple of times how Molly was doing. Gave me a good feeling that I left her in good hands. As I'm writing this review my Molly is down for the count!!

From the moment I met Dan with his open and inviting personality, and then met his dog (who was eager to see what his new playmate was about), to seeing the wonderful fenced in large backyard, I knew we had the right place for our dog to spend a couple of days while we were away. Dan kept us up to date with texts and shared a few photos that put us at ease as this was the first time we boarded our new dog. When we picked her up, she was happy to see us but could see she felt right at home at Dan’s place as well. Thank you so, so much for taking such good care of our girl!!

I live by myself with my dog Jack and only board one dog per day so your dog get lots of my attention all day. Jack is a very friendly 70 lbs shepherd mix that is great with other dogs. He is neutered and up to date on all shots. If your dog likes to play, he/she will definitely come home tired. However, if your dog prefers time alone in the yard that is easily facilitated as well. Playtime with the dogs outside is always supervised. My house is a clean, clutter free, dog safe house that has a large fenced in yard for your dog to roam and play. I have a room in the house that be can blocked off if your pet prefers/needs some space to themselves and I have a large dog crate that can be used if that is part of your dog's normal routine. Your dog is allowed on furniture if that is part of their habits and can sleep on their dog bed or in a crate at night in either my room or the blocked off room. The house setup is flexible and customizable to your dogs needs and preferences.

A typical day
I love playing with and being around your dog. A typical day for your pet includes lots of playing outside with me and/or my dog Jack, lounging in the sun on the back deck, and time hanging out inside with me while I work at my desk. Games of tug, fetch, along with treats you provide throughout the day are always on the agenda.

I work from home full time. My schedule is very flexible and can meet those special needs of your dog whether it be frequent trips outside, walks, playtime, or just because they need some care & attention
