I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life. I grew up caring for them and playing with them. I have cared for dogs and cats for friends and family as well, sometimes for money, but always for love. I have been described by many people as a “dog whisperer” or a “dog magnet”. I’m not sure about that, but I really love dogs (and cats!). Maybe dogs are just a magnet for me. I love walking dogs and seeing the world through their eyes. I am never intimidated by dogs, no matter the size or breed. Without thinking, I recognize almost instantly the dogs personality and needs and I cater myself to them. It’s the same with playing with dogs and caring for them in the home. I am always tuned into their needs and I never miss a signal from a dog (whether it’s mine or someone else’s) that they need or want something. Honestly, when there’s a dog or cat around around, I find it hard to concentrate on the other humans in the room. I am unconsciously drawn into the cat or dog’s world.
