Hi, I am D.J. I am 27, live in East Campus housing at CSUMB and I'm a freelance Scientific Illustrator with a fairly flexible schedule. I have lived all over the world and have cared for all types of dogs, from Costa Rica to Australia and back to California. I have spent all of my life around dogs, having at least two dogs at all times growing up. I have some experience with training and obedience as well as a keen fascination in dog breeding and breed temperament. I LOVE to play with dogs, particularly medium to large dogs, but also consistently take care of Cheuy, My roommate’s Shih Tzu and have experience with many other small breeds. I have experience with dogs of many different ages and backgrounds as well, from rescue street pups, to pampered lap dogs. I really look forward to meeting you and your dog. As much as I love to learn about an individual dog first hand, I really enjoy seeing how a dog and dog owner interact to really key in on what your dog needs from a temporary companion, as well as a caregiver. I am quite active and will make sure your dog gets the exercise he/she needs. I would like to know what your pups feeding schedule and potty schedule is, if there is anything I should know about as far as behavioral or health issues, and any particulars as far as things they like for instance, fetch, a favorite toy, favorite route through the neighborhood etc. I truly love dogs and am looking forward to meeting some more of the dogs in the area!
