Pet care experience
I'm a former chemistry professor (at FAU in Boca) turned science fiction author and realtor. I recently moved to the area after living in Palm Beach County for seven years. In 2014, I lost my furbaby Baxter, an 11-year-old bagle I had rescued five years earlier. He was my entire life, and it was shattered when I lost him. While I haven't been able to bring myself to rescue another pup just yet, I do love being with dogs. I'm extremely trustworthy and courteous, with flexible scheduling, and I will treat your dog with the love and care I gave to Baxter. Whether a mid-morning walk or a game of fetch in the back yard, I will provide you and your beloved pet with the highest quality service. Have a wagtastic day!

Dan is a committed person who will stand by his promises. If he says he will take care of your dog(s), that means he will make sure your beloved pets will be the happiest possible in your absence. He had a dog he cared for enormously and since he’s gone, he has a little bit of emptiness in his heart that caring for dogs while their owners are away will help to fill - to the benefit of the dogs that will get their share of attention and affection.

I would simply need to know how he or she reacts around other people and dogs. Any quirks? Is it OK for people to pet him/her? I have a special place in my heart for hounds, especially beagles/bagles.
A typical day
I'm new to the area, so your pup(s) and I will be exploring the local community together - from neighborhood walks to any local places we can easily explore. Plenty of sniffing time has to be budgeted into our excursion, of course! :)
