Pet care experience
My wife and I are and always have been avid dog lovers. We currently have a black lab mix named Shadow. She is about 4 old, and just loves other playful dogs. We own a single family home with a completely fenced in yard where your dog will be happy to play fetch or just run around or just lay on the deck and do some sunbathing or run around the yard chasing Shadow around. Since we both work during the day we currently offer sitting for just Friday evening through Sunday evening. Upon your request we would be happy to periodically send you photos of your pup over the weekend. For repeat customers, we can sometimes accommodate weekdays. We may be able to accommodate a stay during the weekdays, but your dog must come with a crate. Dogs we do not consider for overnight boarding stays: 1) Puppies under 2 years old 2) Senior dogs from ages 10+ years 3) Dogs under 20lbs. 4) Dogs over 70lbs. 5) Dogs with short-hair like pitbulls (as I am allergic to most breeds with this type hair) 6) Dogs without a crate (you must provide his/her crate for stays longer than a weekend) We will only sit your dog. We will only sit one dog at a time. *We require 48 hours prior notice for booking for a weekend (must book by Wednesday evening for stay on Friday night, must book by Thursday night for a Saturday night stay). **We require a Meet and Greet with your dog and our dog at our home just to make sure they get along fine at least a day before their stay to make sure they both will have a great time. About this sitter: My wife (Marianne) and I have always love dogs. We would like to open up our home to another dog over weekends. Why I love dog sitting My wife and I have been dog lovers ever since I can remember. When looking for our first home, we wouldn't even consider a residence if it didn't have a fence because we knew we needed one for the dog that we would soon be getting. We only believe in rescuing dogs from shelters or pounds and are against puppy mills. My parents gave me a dog when I was just 10 and have been in love with dogs ever since. About my yard Yes we have a backyard. It is totally fenced in. There is plenty of space to run, and Shadow loves playing hide and go seek with other dogs by running around the shed. There are a couple pictures in our profile of our backyard. There is a small sand pit and the rest is grass

We could not have been happier with how things went this past week when we were away on vacation. Daniel and his wife took such great care of our dog. We got daily pictures sent to us and we could tell that he was just having a great time. It was really nice to be able to go away and not have to worry about how our precious little dog was doing.
Nymeria had an amazing time with Dan and Shadow. I received updates from Dan on how well she was doing and he responded quickly if I asked for any updates. Nymeria had fun playing all night. I will be recommending Dan and will definitely be using him again.
This was my first time using Rover, I was a little scared at first. But I couldn't have picked a better sitter for Bo. Daniel is great! He took very good care of our dog, and even sent us very cute photos of Bo through out the stay. He gave me the peace of mind that I needed, while I was gone. I would defiantly go back and schedule another visit with Daniel and Shadow.
We repeatedly go to Daniel to take care of our dog. Always a great experience, both for us as well as for our dog!

It is a very residential area with sidewalks, and there is a park nearby Your dog's sleeping arrangement Our dog sleeps with us in our bed at night. If your dog is used to sleeping on the bed, we would be more than happy to have them up there with us. Or if you have a crate, you may bring that and we can either have it in our room with us during the night or we can place it downstairs Time I'll spend with your dog On the weekends, since we plan to devote them to just dog sitting, we plan to spend all day and night with your dog.
