Pros: Daniel would text us how our doggy was doing as well as send pictures of him, which we loved. He would also respond to our text in a timely manner. Cons: This was our dog's first time having a sitter from Rover, and we were very anxious of leaving him with someone new. Our concern was elevated when we got our dog back (after about 7-8hrs) around 9pm and he kept vomiting and pooping diarrhea. He even vomited two cream colored, small oval shaped pieces that looked like pills :(. Our dog didn't stop pooping and vomiting till early morning, which was rough for him and us. Also, Daniel had other roommates who he had watch our dog at some time also, which we don't know anything about them at all.

Merlin was a happy dog while I was away, and Daniel was so good about sending photos and updates every day. Merlin has medical needs that require applying medication and even putting kong around his neck if he licks. Daniel was very attentive to Merlin's behavior and only had to use kong one time. Merlin might be 12 years old but is still playful and Daniel had fun playing with Merlin along with taking him for several walks a day. His yard was fenced so Merlin could be outside basking in the sun. I never worried about Merlin's care. Daniel, I found out, is actually my neighbor. Merlin was near home and took his usual walk routes. I will definitely be asking Daniel to care for Merlin on any future trips that Merlin cannot go along. He is happier at home rather than a long road trip. Thank you, Daniel,
