My availability is flexible and does shift depending on the week as most of my work is freelance and i work from home. I have experience working with mostly medium to extra large dogs from young (1-2yrs) to senior dogs. I'm experienced with dogs that have particular needs. I don't have a huge preference on the age of dog that I dogsit. I consider myself pretty empathic when it comes to other living things, so I change my care toward them depending on the dog's needs, whether it is rest, affection, independence, play, etcetera. I consider myself to be both a laid back but also an active individual. I like to exercise daily but then also enjoy down time to work on things or just lounge.

Daniel was an excellent dog sitter. He took the time to take frequent pictures of the dogs and to keep me well informed of their welfare. He adjusted on the fly when my leash broke and used one of his spare leashes. I would definitely rebook again.
Daniel is awesome with my 10-week-old aussie puppy! Seriously, I dont think just anybody could handle her. They made me feel very comfortable leaving her for the first time - Daniel knows their stuff! They are also very responsive (especially with last minute stuff), which is a huge perk! I highly recommend booking with Daniel ?
As a first-time River user, I was incredibly impressed with the level of service that I got from Daniel. He took amazing care of my very active dog in her late puppy stages while I had to attend a day-long event. He periodically sent me updates and pictures of my dog Millie enjoying herself and playing with Daniel’s dog, which helped assure me that I left her in great, capable hands. I am used to working with Medium to Extra Large dogs, but I'm not picky on the breeds. It's important for me to know about any particular needs your dog may have, tendencies (barking at certain things, bathroom more frequently, chews certain things), do's and dont's, things they like/dislike (i.e. afraid of certain things or get hyper about other things), dietary needs/restrictions, etcetera. It is important to know about any behavioral problems your dog may have. Since I have a dog as well it is important for your dog to be fairly social/non aggressive. Shy dogs are okay since my dog can also be shy, although she generally loves other dogs.
A typical day
Obediance training/manners, going to the dog beach, dog park, and also at home play time.
