My dog and I love company!

Pet care experience

I've owned dogs most of my life. When I was in my 20s (a long time ago), I worked at a vet hospital and a pet supply company. That taught me a great deal, but owning my own pets has taught me the most. I love all sizes and breeds. I work from home most of the week, so your dog will not be alone for long hours. There is one other adult in the home and he is often available for pick-up/drop-off and meet-and-greets, as needed. My experience ranges from puppies to geriatric dogs. My home is one level, which is easy for arthritic dogs, but there are three stairs to each entrance worth noting if your dog has a disability. The hardwood floors can be a problem for dogs that are not sure-footed, so take that into account as well. If your dog has any dietary restrictions, no problem because I will not feed table scraps or human food. Dog treats? Oh yes! If they obey commands to earn treats, I'll reinforce that for you. A typical day at home begins with letting the dogs out in the back yard for a quick bio break, followed by breakfast. A mid-morning or mid-afternoon walk depends on the weather, but it is usually a quick trip to the local park and back. There is plenty to sniff along the way. My home now includes an elderly cat, and I've updated my profile accordingly. The car is used to dogs, but she likes to stay away from them for the most part. A dog that leaves her alone will do best in the home now that she's joined the family.

Charlie had a wonderful time with Dani and her family - she took excellent care of him and sent some great pictures of him enjoying her home. She gave me peace of mind while I was away from Charlie - she's a great sitter.

Dina is the best doggy sitter ever. Our Brooke stayed with her for 5 days. She sent pictures of Brooke having fun with her own dog, places where Brooke liked to relax, and even praised Brooke for teaching Mullet to go throuh a magnetic screen that Dina has to get to the back porch. Dina's house has a very large back yard that was perfect for Booke to run and play fetch. I will definetly recommend Dina to take care of your dog. She let my Brooke to feel like she was in her own house. Thanks Dina for taking a good care of Brooke! Until next time!

Dani is a wonderful sitter! Our dog, Brownie had a bad ear infection and she offered and took her to the vet. She also sent daily pictures and updates that gave us piece of mind during our vacation. Brownie also loves her backyard and her new friends during the stay. I would recommend her for anyone looking for a great sitter.

Dani has owned dogs her entire adult life and adores them. She provides wonderful care for hers as well as any she's taking care of. Dani has a large backyard for the dogs to play in as well.

A typical day

I have a HUGE back yard with a 6-foot fence. It's like having my own dog park! A typical day involves fetch and chilling on the back deck. When the weather is nice, we go for walks. On wet days, paws and fur are wiped before pups come back indoors. I keep the yard poop-free by scooping dog waste into a Doggy Dooley (septic system for dogs).
