Pet care experience
**2023 UPDATE PLEASE READ** I am working 8-4 in Salinas during the week. I’m happy to help care for your pets if they’re able to be alone during the day. When I was a kid I always wanted to be a vet, and as a result when family vacations happened or family friends needed dog sitters I was the one they called. I grew up with medium and large dogs and a cat of my own. (I love both!) I then worked at various vet clinics while trying to figure out if I wanted in fact to be a veterinarian. I have experience working with vets and understand the trust and care owners need when they let their babies stay with strangers! I know the Monterey area quite well and have lived here for 20 years so I am happy to explore, hike, and keep your animals company around the peninsula. :) I am available most days depending on if I am off backpacking or with family, but very flexible!

Dani was absolutely amazing! We have never left our cat for more than a couple of days, so we were nervous leaving for 2 weeks. Dani came over multiple times prior to our trip to bond with Poppy, and by the end, I think they became best friends. Throughout the entire trip, Dani sent daily updates with pictures & videos which really helped ease our minds while we were gone. On top of her amazing care for Poppy, she left the house clean and tidy. Truly no complaints with Dani. I would recommend her to everyone!!
Dani always does an amazing job with our two pups. She’s very dependable, responsive, and we always return home to healthy, happy dogs! 😊🐶🐶♥️
Dani is seriously the best!! Even the most challenging situations are handled with ease and I’m honestly so grateful to have someone our pups love so much!
Dani was fantastic with our St. Bernard & Dalmatian. They both have funny quirks, need medication and have health challenges. She took perfect care of them and our house. She sent regular updates and we felt comfortable knowing our pups were in great hands! I’d definitely recommend and we will re-book!

I love the idea of pet sitting at a home, it's where your pet is most comfortable and happy which is important when the owner is away. I always value my pet's security when I'm away and give parents plenty of pictures so they know their pet is doing well!

How does your dog react to bikes/people/cars? What makes them nervous? What makes them motivated? Do they have any recent medical issues? Are they from a shelter or are they home bred? No preference on breed! Just curious and prepared :)
A typical day
I love hiking and walking through neighborhoods. No matter the area, I will take your pet out to a nice open area. I especially love Seattle parks and getting pets out of busy sidewalk areas. I think it helps both of us reset and enjoy the area!
