I'm originally from Montana, and grew up on a small farm with a few head of cattle and chickens. I've always had a pet, or several, ranging from dogs, cats, rats, ferrets, and even trying to mend birds that I stumbled across that were injured. I've been in Washington state for about 6 years now, my boyfriend and I live together in a 2 bedroom apartment with our dog Jacey, and kitty Maddox. Both of them are friendly towards other animals, and love to play. My boyfriend loves animals as well, and on the days that I work, he will be here. He works the early morning shift, and I work the evening shift, so on the days that our schedules overlap, there's only just a couple hours in between until someone will be home. We want your pet to feel like he or she is at home, and we will do everything possible to assure the safety and comfort of your pet. I will also provide you with daily updates and even pictures, if possible, to help you rest assured that your pet is in great hands. Although we do not have a yard, I walk our dog frequently, and there is a great dog park nearby with tons of trails and room to run around. As far as bathing or grooming is concerned, I can provide both as requested. My own puppy LOVES to take baths, and the more companions the merrier. My handling style consists of positive reinforcement, in which I reward good behavior with praise, attention, and treats and I use the "time out" method for bad behavior.
