I would like to start off by saying I am an expert at finding the "spot" on dogs. You know the certain spot you scratch and your pups leg scratches the air or thumps the floor repeatedly? That spot. I am also a fun, loving, responsible and reliable person, who grew up always having a dog in the family -- there was not a time when a dog has not been in my home. Then almost 6 years ago I decided to adopt a fur baby of my own and named him Jamo. I raised Jamo as a 3 month old rescue puppy into the sweet, tail wagging, ball fetching, smart dog he is today. Jamo is my world and my love for him is unconditional, but when I moved to NYC a couple months ago with Jamo's dad, we had to make one of the toughest and sad-filled decisions, and decided the best thing for Jamo was to temporarily leave him with my parents and their dog in Michigan, just until we could figure out the best way to move him here, and best have him adjust to becoming a NYC dog. (So sadly, Jamo will not be around while your pupper is with us.) *Update: We are back in Michigan temporarily during the Covid-19 pandemic and we are excited to be offering our services in the Lansing/East Lansing/Surrounding areas for the time being. That being said, I know first hand what it is like to leave your dog, who is a member of your family in the care and trust of another person, but I can guarantee that worry will be at ease with me. I will love and care for your dog as I would my own and will be happy to provide updates as often as you want or need. Besides my own personal experiences with dogs, I have been entrusted with dog walking for neighbors; house and pet sitting; and drop in on pets for friends. I have experience caring for dogs of all shapes and sizes, from yorkies to a newfoundland! If you are interested, I would love the opportunity to speak with you about you and your fur baby! P.S.
