Hi there! My name is Dani and I am a freelance writer and huge animal lover 🏳️‍🌈. Since I often work from home, I love doing pet sits - It's great to have a furry companion while I write. I have dog sat and dog walked regularly since 2010 and have dozens of excellent references. I am also experienced with rescue dogs, difficult dogs and am not afraid of large dogs. I've also worked with dogs that needed medication / daily injections. Some of the breeds I've worked with: Wheaten Terrier, German Shepherd, Pit bull, Chihuahua, White Highland Terrier, Cocker Spaniel, American Eskimo, Golden Retriever, Labradoodle, Australian Shepherd. I make my own schedule, so I am flexible with regards to time & happy to stay at your home with your dog. ***Note*** I moved from Cobble Hill to Williamsburg recently, but I still offer my services to longterm clients and overnight stays in the neighborhoods I was covering previously, such as Dumbo, Brooklyn Heights, Carroll Gardens, Park Slope, Gowanus, Carroll Gardens and Prospect Heights. Open to discuss longer stays in Manhattan and in further away neighborhoods such as Long Island City.
