Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Daniela and I was born and raised in Guatemala City. Ive always been very caring and fond of any type of pet. I love playing with animals and being active. I have a dog back in Guatemala and currently have fishes/snails/frog, so I understand the importance of having your pets in the right care. I worked at a veterinary clinic in Guatemala for 8 months as a dog sitter/ dog boarding, groomer, and assistant with simple vaccinations. I also volunteered at a shelter here in Texas (SAPA!). I look forward to hearing back from you and getting to know you and your furry baby(ies) :o)

Amazing care in a stressful situation. She took care of my daughters two dogs who were in her wedding ceremony and photos. All this with a few hours notice since the dogsitter I had booked got sick and had to cancel last minute. The dogs were calm when people weren't petting them and getting excited but even then she managed the dogs well. Not an easy task. She instinctively seemed to know when to hold back and when to step forward. I will definitely be using her again. Next time will be a cake walk in comparison. :)

In the client's home, I will make sure the pets are tend to 100%. I like to play around with the dogs/cats. I feed them when they need to be fed, I brush their coat (outside to ensure that the hair isn't falling all over the place), my attention is 100% theirs. Walking them out (if it isn't raining) and exploring the area with them but always in a safe manner.

I'd like to know if they are potty trained, spayed/neutered, if they're in heat (for females) and if they get along with other dogs or are they more of a "solo" dog.
A typical day
I have not explored the area of San Marcos myself but some places have gotten my attention as they seem that they are nice and taken care of for dogs to enjoy. Ive heard of some parks around the Texas State Univ where there are nice trails to walk on.

Availability
I make time to be around animals. It not only is good for them but it is also good for me. I believe being around animals has a therapeutic feeling. I just started the fall semester and am a fulltime student. I will also be starting my internship with the city so my time will be limited during this time
