Pet care experience
I have been caring for dogs my entire life! Whether they were my own or I was helping out one of my friends, I have always been around dogs. I just retired and am looking for a side retirement gig- since I already dog and house sit for all of my friends and family, my daughter suggested I start doing Rover! I am an extremely reliable person and I love dogs. I am retired so I have a very open schedule- I could do something as simple as a quick walk, to house/dog sitting while you are away for a work trip. I wake up very early so early morning walks wouldn’t be an issue at all. Message me with any specific questions etc. When I am watching pets, whether it is at my own home or someone else’s- my priority is the pet, their well being and their happiness.

Dane will make a excellent doggie caregiver. He is responsible, compassionate and observant. If your pet enjoys long walks or play you have selected the perfect person from Rover.com. I might add he will turn lights off, set alarms if needed, administrator medication for your pet etc.. You and your dog will be in good hands.
I have known DANE for over 40 years. He has watched our house and taken care of my dog several times when my wife and I have been out of town. He has done this as well, for several of my close friends. You would be so lucky to have DANE in your home, watching your pet. He is going to go above and beyond, what his responsibilities are. Your house will be spotless when he leaves ! You just have never met a nicer person than DANE PHILLIPS. Impeccable character, etc etc. This is one thing you will not have to worry about with DANE. Dane is an especially great pet sitter, who obviously enjoys pets. Our dogs are house pets, and so are used to being around people daily. Dane is always consistent and reliable in caring for our dogs, so we can leave town knowing he’ll come over and stay as needed to spend time with them.
Dane is my dad and the little dog in a lot of his pictures is his grand dog Truman! He is THE best grandpa to Truman I could ever ask for! He is seriously obsessed with him and treats him like a human. When we go out to eat (the rare times we are unable to bring Truman) he brings along a baggy so he can take Truman home some little bites of food 😂. He truly loves all animals and is CONSTANTLY being asked to dog and house sit for his friends and family! This is because he is SO dependable and caring. When I leave town- I know I am in good hands leaving Truman with him.

A typical day
I love to take the dogs on walks where they are most comfortable! Whether that is around their block or at the nearest park. I also play with the dogs and their favorite toys- fetch, tug of war or however they dog likes to play! Giving the pet loves of love and cuddles are important too.
