I am a social worker here in Richmond. I have been pet sitting and walking for over 10 years, and am an experienced pet owner.

Dana did a great job taking care of my cats.
Dana was great. She sent pictures of our cats each day. She investigated a power outage at the house and updated me on what she found out. She also took the trash and recycling out to the street for us.
Dana was reliable and trustworthy. Took great care of our 2 kitties and watered the plants too. Highly recommend Dana
Dana was such a wonderful cat sitter. She took such good care of our cat and was very responsive and on top of everything!

I have a Golden Retriever named Bailey who is as sweet as can be, and a michevious cat named Murphy. Bailey loves to join me as I visit dogs, so let me know if you’d like your dog to have social time! Both my animals are friendly with cats and dogs and love having visitors!

When we first meet, I want you to tell me about your pet. Are they shy or friendly? Do they like snuggles or do they prefer their own space? How can I best give them love and comfort them while you are gone? I want to know about your pet's favorite things so that I can make them as comfortable and happy as possible!
A typical day
I love to go on walks in the fan and at the river and go to dog parks (barker field is awesome!). I love to cuddle and give dogs lots of love, I don't even mind a few kisses! I will happily take dogs out to be socialized and get lots of love from others if they are extroverted.

Availability
Animals are family, period. I am observant and understand when an animal is not well. Recently, I was able to recognize warning signs in a dog and get her to an emergency vet and have her life saved while watching her for 2 weeks!
