Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs my whole life, from labs and beagles to Great Danes and a Brittany. Friends often ask me to watch their dogs and I love it!
Reviews
Mousse and Bullet were well cared for during their 10 day stay. Lots of walks and play time as well as cuddles. Dana sent us pictures daily and pups seemed happy and content!
Dana is wonderful! My Milly is shy and a bit nervous but she feels right at home at Dana’s house. Milly cuddles with Dana. I would highly recommend Dana when need a pet sitter.
Dana was great! Perfect person to watch your dog if you want to spend a day on Mackinaw Island without your pet.
Dana was very accommodating and welcoming to our Claude. He was happy and tired out. He had a great stay! thank You Dana!

I have two friendly labs, a cat, and a large yard with a pond. The animals are treated like part of the family. I know how much I love my animals, so I understand how much you love yours. I’ll make sure they are safe and cared for when they can’t be with you.

I would need to know when and how they like to be fed, any medications or special needs, how they like to sleep, their favorite activities and how they get along with others.
A typical day
I like to start the day out with a walk with the dogs, or throwing the tennis ball with my dogs. They love to play fetch. I take them out again during my lunch- we all need to stretch our legs and get some fresh air. In the evening I like to take my dogs for a walk, to visit our farm, or to the lake for a swim. Depending on the dog, I would modify the activity to meet the needs of the dog. I keep the Rover dogs I watch on a leash during walks. I don’t want to take any chances with your fur babies!

I am working from home most of the week. My kids are all pretty much grown, so I’ve got plenty of time to devote to making sure the dogs get plenty of attention, care and exercise.
