Dogs have been a part of my life since childhood. When I was younger, our family had Lulu, a Chow Chow. Most things I know about dogs I learned from taking care of her. From bathing, to food prepping, to giving medicine. Growing up in a family of dog lovers, I also have experience handling and living with small dogs like my cousin's maltese, Yoshi, and bigger dogs like my aunt's dogs Bailey and Bella, a rottie and a german shepherd respectively. Unfortunately, all of them have passed away now. My experience with dogs has come from a place of care and understanding, living with their different personalities and temparaments, and understanding what could impact their health and experiences. Lulu had sensitive skin, and had to stay in a cool environment. I would prepare rice and eggs for her when our vet recommended it due to the unnatural ingredients typiclly found in dog food. When Bella was younger, she had to be spoon fed for her to eat. Bailey, being very food driven, has taught our family to always put food down where he can't reach. In addition to this, we learned to be very careful about foods that are harmful to dogs such as: avocados, grapes, raisins, onions, garlic, chocolate, and some nuts. Dogs have been a part of most of my life and I understand fully and deeply the love owners have for their canine best friends. As such, I promise to practice due care (safe crossing steet, aware of items on floor, pausing for a break when needed, etc) when I am with your pup and I look forward to meeting them!
